User research revealed that a significant percentage of candidates searching for jobs on Kaluza’s careers website were doing so on mobile devices. This insight drove the decision to prioritize a mobile-first approach to the design and development of the platform. Ensuring an optimized experience for mobile users was critical to making job searches, applications, and overall navigation effortless, regardless of the device.

To meet these demands, we chose Gatsby.js as the foundation for the website. Gatsby’s static site generation ensures lightning-fast page loads, even on slower mobile networks, providing users with a seamless browsing experience. Additionally, Gatsby’s ability to efficiently prefetch resources means candidates can navigate the site with minimal delays, enhancing the mobile experience further.
